Masilo Magoro was born on June 4, in the mid- to late 1970s. So, as of 2023, he is believed to be in his early to mid-50s. He was born in Lenyenye, Tzaneen, Limpopo. However, he only attended his primary school there and moved to Naledi in Soweto, Johannesburg, where his father worked.

After moving to Johannesburg, Masilo enrolled at Thabo High School, where he finished his studies. Furthermore, Magoro’s mother was a nurse. So, she did her best to provide for Magoro, along with his father, who was already working in Johannesburg.

After completing his high school education in Naledi at Thabo High School, Magoro decided to further his education. So, he enrolled at the Fuba Academy to study drama and spent three years there. After his time at Fuba Magoro spent an additional year at the Market Theatre.

Personal life

Most have been wondering if Masilo was married or not. Well, he is. Masilo Magoro is married to his beautiful wife, Pat. Magoro loves his wife so much that on March 6, 2023, he hosted a birthday party for her at their home.

The event was hosted by Omni Events, and they shared the pictures of the day on their Facebook platform. From that party, it seems that Mr. Magoro enjoys a good, fun party as well. Magoro also enjoys watching comedy and even has favorites like Trevor Noah and Steve Harvey.

But aside from all this, the man has had some troubles with the law. In June of 2018, the actor was trending for all the wrong reasons. He was accused of missing out on four of his car payments and was in threat of his BMW 320i being repossessed.

However, the actor said he had only missed two payments and was going to fix the problem. We never heard of an update, but we believe he eventually paid the required amount.

Career of Charles Kunutu

While we don’t know exactly when his career began, during his time at Thabo High School, he participated in plays. So, after he finished his high school education in the 1980s, he studied drama at Fuba Academy. Thereafter, he was part of the Market Theatre for a full year. So, we believe his career began in the late 80s or so.

However, his recognized acting credits began in 2010, according to IMDb. He played one of the agents in Hola Mpintshi. Thereafter, in 2011, he was accredited for playing Vusi in Skeem, and in 2012, he appeared in the legendary Leon Schuster film, Mad Buddies.

Thereafter, in 2013, Magoro can be seen in the film Gomora Hustle, where he played the role of Moss. This is the same year that he was able to join the cast of Skeem Saam as Charles Kunutu.

In that role, he even won the Royal Annual Soapie Award for best supporting actor in 2023. Aside from acting, Magoro started the gospel choir Lenyenye in his hometown of Tzaneen.
