Actor and businessman Melusi Mbele was born in South Africa. After being chosen to play Zolani on Rhythm City, he became well-known. Prior to enrolling at Icesa City Campus in Durban to study radio production, he attended Mount View Secondary School.
He had trouble finding work after graduating from Icesa and eventually went into construction. In preparation for the 2010 World Cup, he finished little jobs on construction sites by building roads and bridges.
He worked at a call center after that. He was listed as a taken man in 2015 due to the fact that he was engaged to his girlfriend Andiswa Maqungo. They both have a daughter together.
Acting career of Melusi Mbele
On Isidingo, Muvhango, Soul City, and Rhythm City, Melusi Mbele had a role. On Soul City, he played the conniving, arrogant, and seductive womanizer Vuyo. He was nominated for a 2019 SAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor – TV Soap for his role as Bekhumuzi on Isibaya.

Muvhango and Scandal!
After playing Zolani, he was chosen to play the reclusive Dumi Hadebe in the SABC soap opera Muvhango. He was then cast as Jojo on Scandal! etv in 2021. (the first born son who knows all the family secrets). Together with Sandile Nodangala, Fana Mokoena, Sihle Ndaba, Robert Mpitsi, and Wendy Gumede, he was a member of the new cast.
Which debuted on September 3, 2021. One of the top 10 competitors in the first Class Act reality TV competition was Mbele. Despite the fact that he came in last, the competition gave him more opportunities in the acting world. ²
