She is well recognized for playing the lead character of Celie in the Johannesburg Theatre’s Janice Honeyman production of The Color Purple Musical. Didintle Khunou was born on November 14, 1992, in Klerksdorp, North West. She also has a twin named Boipelo Khunou, according to Briefly.co.za, proving that she wasn’t born alone. Her mother is a medical technician and entrepreneur, while her father is a general practitioner.
