Jason Willemse is a South African actor who is best Known as Cameron on Scandal. She was born 20 March 1987, age 35 years old. He is married man with two children. Willemse and his wife has been married for 8 years now as of 2022. His children are both girls.

He loves his daughters very much and has created a YouTube channel for his daughters. The channel is all about his daughters and himself, the time they spend together and outings. It’s name is called Daddys Girls on YouTube and he created an Instagram account for them as well.

Educational Background

In 2006, he earned a diploma from Northlink College in Cape Town, which includes courses in marketing management, entrepreneurship and company management, and computer skills training.

Career journey

Since there was no drama school in the area, actor Jason Willemse had a very difficult time achieving his goal of being a master actor.

Willemse recalls his childhood in the Western Cape town of Ladysmith, where there were only a few supermarkets, a post office, a gas station, and formal schools. Moreover, Willemse, who was prevented from going to a drama school, found refuge in Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee-starring karate flicks.

In an episode of the 2012 season of the SABC1 sitcom City Ses’la, Jason made his television debut. The following year, he was given the part of Cameron Jansen in the ongoing Scandal television soap opera!, who made his debut in the part on August 5, 2013.

His character debuted as the first of the five Jansens, a new family that joined the Scandal series. When Cameron was hired by Safe and Clean to serve as a security guard. The young man’s adjustment to his new job, however, was difficult because family secrets from his past followed him to Johannesburg. He continued to act on Scandal until 2016.

In 2015, Jason recurred as Riaan Huisman on the SABC3 drama series Roer Jou Voete (Move Your Feet), about a talented young dancer who falls foul of a nasty drug lord and discovers that his only hope to survive is a Latin and Ballroom Dance School in a forgotten Karoo town.

Jason got another role to act on SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy as  Clifford. He made his first appearance on 21 November in 2016 after leaving Scandal. Also he played several roles on kyKNET short films, including Skrikkeljaar and Die Webley. Furthermore, in the year 2021, Jason got a starring role as Wendell on SABC1 telenovela uBettina Wethu. Which is based on the international series Ugly Betty.
