Kamo Letsosa (born 19 March 1991) is a South African actress, dancer, traditional healer and TV presenter best known for playing Mamiki on Smoke & Mirrors as of 2023. Moreover, she briefly appeared on tetv Scandal as Ditsheho, who almost dated Javas.
While most know her from this role, she has been around for a while and her hardcore fans may know her from her recurring role as Mapule Tsotetsi in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Greed & Desire.

Early life of Kamo Letsosa
Kamogelo Zukiswa Letsosa was born in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa in 1991 on the 19th of March. So, as of 2023, she is 32 years old. She has revealed that she attended Mondeor High School growing up.
According to an interview she did with Vumanibo, she revealed that her mother’s side of the family had traditional roots. And, this background followed her to her early adulthood when she discovered she had a calling.
After finishing her high school at Mondeor High School, the actress went on to attend Rosebank College for an undisclosed course. While some sources suggest it was related to drama, at this point we simply don’t know.

According to some who know her personally, the actress is a very kind person. However, every person has their limits and such were tested when her fans or haters were coming for her in real life.
And she has stressed how such comments actually put her down and that she was tired of staying quiet to the bullying.
Such bullying has caused deppression in many other actors including the likes of Raphael Griffiths, Hungani Ndlovu and Sandile Mahlangu.

In the past, Kamo had made appearances in presenting roles on television, including in the Soweto TV music program Street Radio, the SABC2 edutainment program WiredUp, and the SABC1 science program T.O.M.z. (Teenagers on a Mission).
She made her professional acting debut in 2014 when she made an appearance in a Single Galz episode on SABC1.
Later that year, on September 29, 2014, she appeared in the season finale of the e.tv anthology drama series eKasi: Our Stories, “Last Born” (Season 5, Episode 52).

Kamo Letsosa modern career
She started portraying Mapule in the Mzansi Magic drama Greed & Desire in April 2016, which lasted till March 2017.
In the first episode of Season 3 of the SABC1 legal drama series Sokhulu & Partners (which aired on June 5, 2016), Kamo also had a guest starring role as Rutendo Mfwaze.
Moreover, she starred in the “Original Mzansi Movie” Kasi Mean Girls on Mzansi Magic in 2017, a film about a group of high school girls who must overcome the social embarrassment of cyberbullying. The film debuted on the network on Saturday, November 7, 2017.
Thereafter, joined the cast in Season 2 of the SABC1 series Mi Kasi Su Kasi, which she co-hosted in 2018.
She made her SABC2 soap opera Muvhango debut on Thursday, January 7, 2021 as Master, a character who exposes the sinister side of KK (MacDonald Ndou).
