Bohlokwa Larona Mpiti was born in Gauteng Province, South Africa, in the sprawling Soweto slum of DiepKloof. He was conceived on April 29, 1996. Bohlokwa was brought up by his parents in DiepKloof and was taught Christian principles by them.
Bohlokwa didn’t sure what he wanted to do with his life when he grew up because he lived in a township. Speaking to Daily Sun (a South African news outlet), he recalled that everyone had to choose their career during a career day when he was in grade 8, but he wasn’t yet aware of what his dream job was.
“I didn’t know what I wanted to be, but I’m a strong believer in God, so I prayed. I asked Him to show me what I was supposed to be.” he said. He added again by saying, “I took drama as one of my subjects in grade 10, and I’ve been acting since then.”

In 2016 before he could even graduate, he started shooting an international drama series ‘The Quad’ alongside Orlando Jones and Laurence Fishburne making his first appearance probably in 2020. He also appeared in several theatre plays including the 2017 theatre drama called F.I.R.E by Best Stage Production. In November 2017 he starred in Bomb Production film ‘Umsolwa’ which premiered in cinemas on the 25th of November 2017.

In May 2020 he was casted as Clevy in SABC2 drama series Bone of My Bones making his debut appearance on the 14th of May. The series casted big names such as Motlatsi Mafatshe and others like Kgaugelo Mosomane.
He made his debut in the defunct e.tv soap opera Rhythm City in October 2020 as Zak Lukhele, debuting on the show’s ninth episode. Firstborn son of Ziyanda (written by Linda Sokhulu) and the hidden love child of Ziyanda and Khulekani (written by Mncedisi Shabangu), Zak. Zak Lukhele was a young child when viewers first encountered him; he had been given away at birth, and he had come to see his mother for the first time in 20 years. He was cast as the lead character Zanemvula Meyiwa in the Showmax drama series Umnisamvula in December 2021. Because he was blind, Zanemvula, a young man, was left behind by his parents.
