Career in Acting
Before moving to Durban General, Lerato made multiple television appearances. On Isthembiso and Madume, she played a supporting part.
She also played a supporting role in the featured movie Trapped. Moreover, she also made appearances in television commercials.
Including the lead role in the 2019 Aero campaign and the lead role in the 2017 Edgars Women’s Day campaign. Furthermore, she auditioned for the 2020 season of the television drama Durban Gen.
She received a notification from her acting agency, Star Quality Management agency. Which has offices in both Johannesburg and Durban, regarding the Durban Gen auditions.
During the lockout, she posted a self-tape to Durban Gen, and soon after, she got a call inviting her to come in for an audition.
