In real life, Buntu Petse is engaged to her longtime partner, Londa Mavundla. The two met at the university in 2018, and they stayed faithful to each other. Moreover, they met just a year before Buntu could graduate.

After graduating in 2019, she landed the role of Nontle on Generations: Legacy. investigative role she still plays to date. However, there have been rumours that she was fired or would be phased out of soap together with the likes of Rebaone Kgosimore, who plays Paul Moroka Jr. on Generations.

Such rumors are not yet confirmed. However, the likes of Phil Mphela and reputable sources like The South African have teased that the actress, along with others, might be booted off the show. So, we will just wait and see.
