Xolani Ncobeni was born on the 16th of December 1976 or 1977. So, as of 2023, he is either turning 46 or 47. The actor was born in Clermont, a small township in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

While, we don’t know much about his early life, the actor grew up with a artistic background and even moved to Johannesburg in 1999 to pursue a career in music. He was pursuing the Maskandi music genre.

Moreover, according to Xolani, their resemblance once led to him losing a job. He also stated that a movie featuring the two of them as siblings was possibly underway.
