Wright Ngubeni is a South African actor born, July 20, 1988, in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa. So, as of 2025, he is 37 years old. He appeared in numerous well-known companies’ television ads before he turned ten, including the one for Kingdom of the Sun.
At the age of five, he had his acting debut in Kideo, a well-known children’s television program. He was first employed as a show host by SABC 2, a television network. He was tasked with delivering a school assembly.
On the SABC3 television series Street Life, which starred Wright when he was eleven, Wright was given the lead part of a street child.
Edgars hired him for their advertisement in 2000. When he played the part of Nobakhaba on Human Cargo, he attracted attention on a global scale.

He auditioned for and was hired as the host of World of Winners on SABC2, hence he left his role as an actor in Generations. Moreover, Wright appeared as a special guest (Sepecia Motsoeng) in Erfsondes, an Afrikaans drama series on SABC2, in Season 2, Episode 7 in 2009.

He played the role of 5 Bob in the 2016 season of the eTV drama series Heist. His job involved teaching the kids how to survive on the streets. He played Thulani Zondi in the SABC1 sitcom Thuli no Thulani in 2017.
