Add the Absa Cellphone Banking number *120*2272# to your contacts
Dial the Absa Cellphone Banking number from your contact list to begin your registration
Select 1 to proceed Tap Send
Select 1 to accept the terms and conditions Tap Send
Enter either your SA ID number or your passport number and Tap Send
Enter a 5-digit numeric PIN Tap Send
You have successfully registered

How to send Absa Cash Send using USSD Codes?

Dial *120*2272#, and enter your 5-digit PIN
Select 5 to proceed Tap Send
Select 2 to send to a new beneficiary Tap Send
Enter the recipient’s cellphone number Tap Send
Enter the recipient’s name Tap Send
Select the account you wish to debit Tap Send
Enter the amount you wish to send Tap Send
Enter the 6-digit code that the recipient will use to get the fund from an Absa ATM Tap Send

The following steps will guide you on how to send money for Cash Send via Absa banking app.

Logon to Absa Online Banking and select Payments.
Select Pay and then CashSend payment.
Select the account from which you want to send money, the amount that you want to send and the recipient’s cellphone number.
Create a six-digit access code, which you must give to the recipient, and confirm the payment.

How to send Absa Cash Send via Absa online banking?

Logon to Absa Online Banking and select CashSend in the top navigation.
Select CashSend beneficiaries.
Select Once-off CashSend or CashSend a new beneficiary.
Select the account from which you want to send money, the amount that you want to send and the recipient’s cellphone number.
Create a six-digit access code, which you must give to the recipient, and confirm the payment.

How to withdraw Absa Cash Send?

Go to an Absa ATM that offers the CashSend function and select CashSend and then CashSend withdrawal.
Enter the 10-digit reference number that has been sent to your cellphone.
Enter the six-digit access code that was provided by the person who sent the money.
Once the transaction has been verified, the money will be issued to you.
Only the full amount can be withdrawn.
